Social Media Competition Terms and Conditions
Notice to the Participant: by entering this Competition, you fully and unconditionally agree to these Terms and Conditions.
1. Competition Details
a. Name of Competition: Audi Mystery Screening at the Stella Cinema Rathmines (Competition).
b. Organiser: Volkswagen Group Ireland Limited of Block C Liffey Valley Office Campus, Liffey Valley, Dublin 22, D22 CF6.
c. Relevant Brand: Audi Ireland.
d. Opening Date: 11 September 2023.
e. Closing Date: 15 September 2023.
f. Winner(s) Announced Date: 15 September 2023.
g. Entry Requirements: i. Access to the @audiireland Instagram page; ii. Only Instagram users will be able to enter.
h. Prize: i. 2 x guest list passes to the Audi Mystery Screening at The Stella Rathmines on 20 September 2023; ii. Prize to include film screening, canapés, popcorn and a mocktail on arrival.
2. Competition Dates
The Organiser reserves the right to alter the Opening Date, the Closing Date and the Winner Announced Date.
3. Eligibility Requirements
a. The Competition is open to participants who, at the time of entry: (i) are resident in the Republic of Ireland and (ii) must be over 18 years of age (Participants).
b. The Organiser reserves the right to reject entries to the Competition in its full discretion.
c. Only one entry per person is allowed to the Competition. All additional entries will be disqualified.
d. No third party or bulk entries.
e. If it becomes apparent that either a Participant or household is using any means to circumvent this condition such as, and without limitation, multiple email accounts, multiple reproduced or computer-generated entries, using multiple identities, fraudulently falsifying data, acting fraudulently or dishonestly in the opinion of the promoter or otherwise acting in violation of these Terms and Conditions, these Participants will be disqualified, and any prize entitlement will be void.
f. Incomplete, illegible, misdirected or late entries will not be accepted.
g. Proof of sending will not be accepted as proof of delivery or receipt.
h. No responsibility can be accepted for entries that are incomplete, lost due to technical reasons, corrupted, delayed, wrongly delivered, or not received for whatsoever reason.
i. Failure to meet the Eligibility Requirements may result in forfeiture of the Prize.
j. The Organiser at its sole discretion may disqualify any Participant it finds to be tampering with the entry process or the operation of the Competition; or who is in violation of these Terms and Conditions; or to be acting in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner, or with intent to annoy, abuse, threaten, or harass any other person or Participant.
4. Personal Data
Personal Data processed by the Organiser as part of the Entry Requirements is subject to the privacy policy available here. By entering the Competition, Participants agree that their information may be used by the Organiser to administer the Competition.
5. Winner and Prize
a. The Winner is chosen at random by the Organiser.
b. The Prize is non-transferable to another individual and no cash or other alternatives will be offered.
c. In the event of the Prize being unavailable, the Organiser reserves the right to offer an alternative prize of equal or greater value.
d. If the Winner is unavailable or unable to avail of the Prize, the Prize will then be awarded to the next choice. This will continue to occur until an available Winner can avail of the Prize.
e. The Winner will be notified by via the account provided at point of entry within fourteen (14) days of the Winners Announced Date to claim their Prize.
f. It is the responsibility of the Participant to provide correct, up-to-date details on acceptance of the Prize.
g. The Organiser’s decision is final and binding. No correspondence will be entered into.
h. The Winner agrees that his or her winning may be used for general media and marketing purposes without remuneration.
6. Liability
The Organiser shall not be liable to the Participants or any third party for any indirect, consequential, exemplary, incidental, special or punitive damages, including lost profits damages arising from entry to the Competition.
7. Force Majeure
Neither the Organiser nor any of their servants, agents, licensees shall be liable for any failure in the performance of its obligations due to factors beyond its and/or their control. In the event of unforeseen circumstances beyond the Organiser’s' reasonable control, the Organiser reserve the right to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Competition or these Terms and Conditions, either in whole or in part, with or without notice.
8. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the Irish law and the courts of Ireland shall have exclusive jurisdiction in relation to any disputes arising out of or in connection with the Competition.
9. Variation
The Organiser may modify these Terms and Conditions and such modifications shall be effective upon posting on the Competition webpage.
10. Severability
If any of these clauses should be determined to be illegal, invalid or otherwise unenforceable then it shall be severed and deleted from these Terms and Conditions and the remaining clauses shall survive and remain in full force and effect.
