All tyres, produced from July 1st 2012 and on sale from November 1st 2012, are required to carry the EU Tyre Label.
Fuel Efficiency
Tyres contribute up to 20% of the overall fuel consumption for a car. The less resistance your tyres endure, the less energy will be consumed meaning you will save CO2.. Class A tyres deliver the best fuel efficiency. The difference between class A and G is up to 0.7 litres at 100km/h.
Wet Grip
Wet grip affects your tyre’s breaking distance on a wet road surface. Better wet grip results in shorter braking distance. The difference between class A tyres and class F tyres stopping distance is up to 18 metres.
Noise Levels
The external noise made by the tyre, measured in decibels, contributes to sound pollution.
The black sound waves illustrated on the label show how loud/quiet a tyre is. The more sound waves, the louder the tyres.

- 2 sound waves: Complies with the EU limit values or is up to 3 dB under them.
