This is how the main beam assist works

When driving at night, main beam assist takes over the routine task of turning the main beam on and off. Main beam assist automatically detects the headlights of oncoming traffic, the taillights of other road users and light sources from localities within the framework of the system boundaries. The main beam is switched on or off automatically depending on the traffic situation. The system thus improves the driver's visibility and ensures increased comfort.
