With the Audi Q5 TFSI e, you can enjoy the combination of a TFSI combustion engine and a powerful electric motor. Without having to compromise on hallmark Audi dynamics. And with the option of zero local emissions when driving in purely electric mode.
Always the right drive
Driving the Audi Q5 TFSI e combines the strengths of an electric motor with the advantages of a combustion engine. The ideal drive is selected depending on the driving situation: electric, hybrid or combustion. For efficient, convenient or sporty driving. Thanks to the 7-speed S tronic transmission including quattro all-wheel drive, sporty performance meets efficiency.
0 to 100 km/h
Many advantages combined
With the electric motor, you can complete many everyday short trips. For longer journeys, you can count on the proven range provided by the combustion engine, which brings you confidently to your destination. This mode holds the charge of the battery and through recuperation even partly recharges it so that at the end of a long cross-country trip you can switch back to purely electric mode for a relaxed drive through the city.
Choice of drive mode: four driving modes
The form of drive that is used can be controlled in the Audi Q5 TFSI e via four different driving modes: purely electric driving (EV), primary use of the combustion engine (Hold), increase the battery charge for later electric driving (Charge)², or efficient interaction (Hybrid).
Everything in view
The power meter located on the left in the optional Audi virtual cockpit shows the total power of the system, the drive mode and the charge level of the battery. In the centre- as in the myAudi App³ - you can read off the remaining range of the electric and combustion engine.
Rediscover mobility, for instance through listening to music in unprecedented quality when driving in purely electric mode producing little noise and zero local emissions. The relaxing way to do something good – for yourself and your environment. And if you want to experience hallmark Audi dynamics, depress the accelerator pedal beyond the specific resistance point: the boost function¹ is quick to impress.

New lighting scenarios
Grouping the OLEDs into small, individually controllable segments with a three-dimensional layout produces an impressive light arrangement, which makes it possible to create new lighting scenarios. When purchasing a vehicle, customers have a choice of three tail light signature designs with which to add a personal touch. In addition, depending on driving mode, the character of the tail light signature is adapted automatically when in use. The optional digital OLED combination rear lights keep a proximity detection⁴ ready: If the vehicle is stationary and another vehicle or other road users approach from behind to within two meters, all OLED segments are automatically activated as a visible area magnification.
Plenty of room for your personality
The Q5 TFSI e offers a generous space concept with plenty of space for five people including ample headroom and legroom. The high seating position provides a good overview of the traffic situation. The vehicle’s horizontal body line underpins the impression of width and comfort. A sculpted trim strip runs across the entire width of the instrument panel, stylishly rounding off the overall impression of elegance. The new equipment line and package concept offer a wide range of colours and materials.
