The Audi S4 Avant combines high dynamics with the elegance and variability of an estate car. Both outside and inside, S-specific elements point to its athletic DNA. The 255-kW (347-hp) engine lets you feel its power on the road. Thanks to its generous cargo capacity, the Audi S4 Avant handles everyday transportation tasks with ease.
The optional panoramic glass roof lets more light into the interior of the Audi S4 Avant¹ and creates a more pleasant ambience.

Individualise sportiness - the exterior
The side view showcases the sporty character of the Audi S4 Avant¹ particularly clearly. The standard S sports suspension with tightly tuned suspension and damping situates it 23 millimetres lower in comparison to the basic model. At the front and at the rear, it also sets itself apart with S specific elements of the basic model, for example by a special radiator grille and the S diffuser with surrounding clasp. For the wheels you can choose from a wide range: the standard configuration of the Audi S4 Avant¹ includes 18-inch wheels. The vehicle in the photo is equipped with optional 19-inch cast aluminium wheels in the 5-V-spoke-star design from Audi Sport. Choose between twelve lacquer shades or let your personal touch flow in with the individual finishes of Audi exclusive.
Powerful and efficient - the engine
Driving pleasure is guaranteed in the Audi S4 Avant thanks to the 3.0 TDI engine (combined fuel consumption*: 6.3 l/100 km, combined CO₂ emissions*: 166-165 g/km). The V6 engine delivers 255 kW (347 hp) and generates a maximum torque of 700 Newton metres. In addition to its performance, the Audi S4 Avant¹ also impresses with its efficiency and driving comfort: the powertrain integrated standard 48-volt mild hybrid system with a belt-starter generator and a Li-ion battery forms the basis for this. One of the advantages: when you release the throttle at a speed of less than 160 km/h, the engine can be switched off and switched to so-called sailing mode to reduce fuel consumption.
Sporty and individual - the interior
The dynamic line continues in the interior of the Audi S4 Avant¹. Illuminated door sills with aluminium inserts and S emblem are standard features. With the S sport seats with diamond stitching and S emblem you can adjust the seat height, the seat's longitudinal position, the seat angle and the backrest inclination - pronounced seat side bolsters enhance your grip when cornering. The photo shows a special design package from Audi exclusive. It includes, among other things, black seat covers in fine nappa leather with contrast stitching in Crescendo red. These colour-accentuated seams can also be found on the door arm rests, on the centre console and in the cuff of the gearshift lever.
Thanks to an intuitive operating concept via touch function and natural-language interaction, the Audi S4 Avant¹ offers you great ease of use. Decide on infotainment for optional technologies such as the digital instrument cluster Audi virtual cockpit plus. Its 12.3-inch display directly in front of you displays important functions clearly and in full HD resolution, including speed and RPM. Optional features such as the Audi connect key² and the Audi phone box² integrate your smartphone into the vehicle.
Striking and functional - the lighting
The Audi S4 Avant¹ comes standard with headlights with LED technology. These ensure daylight-quality illumination immediately after switching on. With the LED rear lights, you can optionally opt for a dynamic flashing light and a dynamic light show when unlocking and locking the vehicle. At the front, Audi Matrix LED headlamps with dynamic indicator signals and dynamic light show are optionally available.
The specified fuel consumption and emission data have been determined according to the measurement procedures prescribed by law. Since 1st September 2017, certain new vehicles are already being type-approved according to the Worldwide Harmonized Light Vehicles Test Procedure (WLTP), a more realistic test procedure for measuring fuel consumption and CO2 emissions. Starting on September 1st 2018, the New European Driving Cycle (NEDC) will be replaced by the WLTP in stages. Owing to the more realistic test conditions, the fuel consumption and CO2 emissions measured according to the WLTP will, in many cases, be higher than those measured according to the NEDC. Therefore, the usage of CO2 emission values measured according to WLTP for vehicle taxation from 1st September 2018 on can cause changes in this regard as well. For further information on the differences between the WLTP and NEDC, please visit www.audi.de/wltp.
We are currently still required by law to state the NEDC figures. In the case of new vehicles which have been type-approved according to the WLTP, the NEDC figures are derived from the WLTP data. It is possible to specify the WLTP figures voluntarily in addition until such times as this is required by law. In cases where the NEDC figures are specified as value ranges, these do not refer to a particular individual vehicle and do not constitute part of the sales offering. They are intended exclusively as a means of comparison between different vehicle types. Additional equipment and accessories (e.g. add-on parts, different tyre formats, etc.) may change the relevant vehicle parameters, such as weight, rolling resistance and aerodynamics, and, in conjunction with weather and traffic conditions and individual driving style, may affect fuel consumption, electrical power consumption, CO2 emissions and the performance figures for the vehicle. Further information on official fuel consumption figures and the official specific CO₂ emissions of new passenger cars can be found in the guide “Information on the fuel consumption, CO₂ emissions and electricity consumption of new cars”, which is available free of charge at all sales dealerships and from DAT Deutsche Automobil Treuhand GmbH, Hellmuth-Hirth-Strasse 1, 73760 Ostfildern-Scharnhausen, Germany (www.dat.de).
