Under the bonnetAudi A3 Cabriolet engines

A total of five engines are available for the Audi A3 Cabriolet, including two TFSI® and two TDI® engines. The direct-injection units with turbochargers offer powerful performance together with superior efficiency.

Intelligent TFSI® technology combines the advantages of economical and efficient FSI® technology with those of a turbocharger. This means more propulsive power, lower fuel consumption.

TFSI®: It’s not where you’re going, it’s how you get there

The 1.8 TFSI® engine delivering 118 kW (160 bhp) accelerates the Audi A3 Cabriolet from 0 to 100 km/h in only 8.0 seconds*. The 2.0 TFSI® engine delivering 147 kW (200 bhp) achieves the same feat in a mere 7.3 seconds*. And with a maximum torque of 250 and 280 Nm respectively, a sporty driving experience is guaranteed.

Consumption figures and emission values:
Fuel consumption, combined: 6.7-7.4 l/100 km
CO2 emissions, combined: 156-171 g/km

TDI®: economical pleasure trip

The two TDI® engines for the Audi A3 Cabriolet deliver agility, spontaneity and efficiency to the road, all at the same time. For every 100 kilometres of driving fun the 1.9 TDI® engine developing 77 kW (105 bhp) uses an average of just about 5.1 litres of fuel (combined). The 2.0 TDI® unit with an output of 103 kW (140 bhp) employs modern common rail diesel technology. Latest-generation piezo injectors supply fuel to the 2.0 TDI® combustion chamber at a pressure of 1,800 bar. The result: efficient combustion with the lowest possible emissions.

Consumption figures and emission values:
Fuel consumption, combined: 5.1-5.6 l/100 km
CO2 emissions, combined: 134-148 g/km
