The sporty spearhead of the TT series combines breath-taking driving pleasure with a distinctive design. The newly developed 5-cylinder unit contributes to an impressive engine sound. 294 kW (400 hp) of power and a maximum torque of 480 Nm provide a sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.9 seconds - the top speed is 250 km/h. If desired, the top speed can be raised to 280 km/h.

Start the engine, shift into first gear, and step on the gas. The TT RS Roadster combines breath-taking driving dynamics with impressive sound. The newly developed 2.5 TFSI brings out 17 percent more power from the unchanged 2,480 cm3 displacement - 294 kW to be exact. The maximum torque of 480 Nm is already available at 1,700 tours and remains constant up to 5,850 revolutions per minute. In 3.9 seconds, it accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h. The top speed limit of 250 km/h can be raised to 280 km/h. The firing sequence of the 2.5 TFSI is 1-2-4-5-3 and has a very special rhythm and character. This results in an engine sound that is unrivalled.
The lightning-fast seven-speed S tronic - standard - and The dual clutch transmission features high efficiency and wide spreading - its lower gears are short, the seventh gear is long-lasting. You control the seven-speed S tronic with the selector lever and the standard rockers on the sports leather steering wheel. The launch control manages starts with optimum traction - with it the new TT RS can exhaust its full acceleration potential. With the quattro permanent all-wheel drive, this power is transferred onto the road. The electro-hydraulic lamellar clutch is compact and light, making the TT RS Roadster an agile ride. In the case of fast corners, the clutch can partially direct the driving forces to the rear axle when turning.

The Audi TT RS Roadster promises pure driving pleasure even when not moving. Closed or open - in just 10 seconds the convertible top opens including while driving up to 50 km/h. The characteristic RS features sharpen the design, for example, the Audi single frame with a honeycomb grid and quattro lettering or the distinctive RS bumper with distinctive air intakes.

The 8-piston fixed callipers on the front axle are powerful. On internally ventilated, perforated steel discs, with a large-dimensioned cast-in friction ring connected to an aluminium brake disk cap. This floating bearing ensures that the friction ring remains largely free of stress, whereby improved stability under temperature influence is achieved. Via the axial perforation and cooling ducts for internal ventilation, the performance of the brake discs is increased. Their material mix contributes to weight reduction and improves the balance of unsprung masses.
