Choose your engine and transmission
You’ll need to make four choices:
• Fuel type: petrol or diesel
• Transmission: manual or automatic
• Performance: power, fuel economy and CO2 emissions
• Front-wheel drive or quattro, Audi’s legendary all-wheel drive system
The TFSI® engine of the Audi TT. Staying true.
Audi TFSI engines attain a particularly high compression rate. The result: outstanding efficiency combined with optimum performance. Substituting supercharging for cubic capacity has the effect of reducing engine size and weight considerably – while performance is as impressively dynamic as ever. For power delivery that will win you over from the word go. For example, the 2.0 TFSI quattro with 230 hp in the new Audi TT. Taking the car from 0 to 100 km/h in 5.3 seconds and capable of reaching a top speed of 250 km/h.
TDI® in the TT Coupé. Intelligent performance.
The 2.0 TDI with 110 hp delivers 380 Nm of torque and, when paired with a manual transmission, takes you from 0 to 100 km/h in 7.1 seconds. In doing so it consumes a mere 4.2 litres of fuel per 100 km, while emitting only 110 g/km of CO2.
quattro® – permanent power to all four wheels
The quattro permanent drive system guarantees more driving pleasure – especially on slippery road surfaces. If the wheels of one axle lose grip and threaten to spin, the drive torque is redirected via the transfer case and hydraulic multi-plate clutch to the other axle, fully automatically and continuously. The result: better acceleration, greater lateral stability, improved traction, enhanced safety and even more driving pleasure.
