Every detail of the Audi Q5 features the characteristic Q design. This includes the distinctive bonnet and the gently sloping roof line as well as the outer mirrors mounted onto the shoulder and the narrow window line.
Sporty and streamlined
The Audi Q5: sporty and streamlined. The single-frame grille with a solid frame dominates the aerodynamically flat front. A distinctively curved and strongly undercut shoulder line divides the side view. The strongly defined wheel arches indicate quattro all-wheel, and the flat roof structure extends downwards. The horizontal lines on the rear also give the impression of width and presence. The rear lights are optionally available with dynamic indicators. The tailpipes are integrated into the diffuser.
Although the body has grown in size, it has become lighter.
4.66 m long, 1.89 m wide, 1.66 m high, and a 2.82 m wheel base – compared to its predecessor, the Audi Q5 has increased in almost all dimensions. At the same time, the weight has decreased by up to 90 kg depending on the engine.
When it comes to aerodynamics, the Audi Q5 is also at the top of its class, thanks to the aerodynamically optimised roof. And the Q5 currently features the best interior acoustics in its class with exceptionally low wind noise.
